This project was born from a text whose origin we didn’t know, just a few lines translated from a song that stuck with us. From there, we each wrote down everything it made us feel or imagine, then merged our thoughts into a single narrative: regret. The visual direction explores how regret can either drown you or teach you balance, a constant tension between acceptance and weight.
The goal was to translate an emotion. Not sell, not promote, just understand. We wanted to see how a simple piece of text could evolve into a full visual and narrative experience. The project became an exercise in introspection and creative dialogue, exploring how two perspectives can merge into one coherent story about regret, balance, and acceptance.
The story unfolds in fragments, like memories coming back out of order. It moves from denial to confrontation, then acceptance, not forgetting but learning to live with what remains. Each visual marks a stage in that process, moving from chaos to calm, from blur to clarity. In the end, it’s less about loss than about balance, and the quiet effort it takes to stay afloat.
This project felt like taking a breath. No big message, no perfect ending, just a way to let things out and see what stayed. Working with Soso made it feel easy, natural, almost quiet in a good way. It reminded me that not everything needs to go somewhere. Some projects just exist to help you make sense of what’s already there.
